Having decided to relaunch the website, I didn't know how to deal with "Chat-lines" The intention had been to continue Chi-chi's pages with new adventures, but her unexpected death earlier this year put paid to that ambition, so instead, I have reproduced the relevant days from my original "Offline" record here, as a sort of memorial, and as an introduction to Chi-chi's archived pages.

Indeed life does go on, we have another cat now, Millie, the circumstances through which she joined us, and her own adventures may yet begin another story, we shall see...........

When I set all this up, I had not reckoned on the capacity of fate to interefere in one's affairs. I know Blogs are supposed to be maintained daily, but these last few weeks have been a little too fraught for such trivialities.

Let me explain. Those of you who know us well, or have read all the parts of this web site, will know that we share our lives with a small cat. For most of the last month Chi's health has been of grave concern due to complications after a virus infection. We have come so close to losing her so many times that I am calling these the Schroedinger mornings, waking up not knowing if she is still with us, or if the Storm Cat has come to take her in the night.
